Off the clock, still shipping.
The same habit as the paid work, pointed at problems nobody is paying to solve. Each one runs, carries its reasoning inside it, and most of them you can open right now.

AI executive function
Gwendolen
Not an assistant: an executive function. Working memory, commitments, calendar and follow-ups for the practice, with a persistent memory and a habit of asking why a commitment has not moved in a fortnight.
She runs the studio every day and co-writes the Insights blog. The app holds live client and personal context, so it stays behind a login. She introduces herself instead.

Book recommendations
Shelfie
Tell it what you have loved, liked, disliked and hated, and it recommends on fit alone, then points you at an independent bookshop that will sell you the book.
Shops can pay for position in the where-to-buy panel. They cannot pay for what you are told to read, and that is enforced in the code rather than promised: the recommender has no access to the retail layer at all.

Claude skill
Tanka
A Claude skill that sorts a long document into three layers a reader can stop at: five lines, one page, then everything. Where the detail is the deliverable it restructures rather than cuts, and it never drops a figure, a date or a name.
Named for the Japanese form: thirty-one sounds over five lines, with no room for filler. Free to use under CC BY 4.0.

Coach file builder
hugenerd
Asks how you really train, compiles the answers in your browser into a coach file, and hands it over to run on your own AI. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere.
Barbells are just the demo. The pipeline is the one we point at knowledge that matters more.

Guitar practice
Hugobot
A guitar practice prompter for a kid, named after Hugo, her guitar teacher, and drawn as a small robot version of him: curly hair, squarish glasses, a moustache, endless patience and a supply of terrible jokes.
It covers the six days a week the teacher is not in the room, and does not try to teach guitar. The practice streak is weekly, not daily, because a daily counter that breaks hands a kid a reason to stop.

Archery journal
Bowa
An offline gap journal for longbow shooting. Record the gap at each distance and it builds a table you can look up at the range, with no signal needed.
It interpolates between distances you have measured, refuses to extrapolate beyond them unless you ask, and says so when you do. A change of equipment starts a new build, so old readings never quietly describe a bow you no longer shoot.
