Alex founded Abundant Kindling in 2024 after a career that’s zig-zagged through sustainable building design, tech startups, solar, bike-sharing, and facility management. The common thread is turning complex problems into working solutions — and building alongside clients, not just advising them.

He is also Head of Sustainability and Technology at RenewCorp, and the principal behind The Clockwork Cloud.

Margot keeps the engine room running. She manages administration, coordinates client communications, and edits the work that goes out the door — bringing a professional editor’s eye to everything Abundant Kindling publishes.

Margot holds a Ph.D. from Flinders University. Her editorial work has appeared in Australian Book Review, Kill Your Darlings Journal, Viewpoint, and Onya Magazine, and she spent more than three years as associate editor of Ride On magazine at Bicycle Network.
