Case study: AKAP

Every leaf turned over.

AKAP is the asset audit system I built for Viacore. Their trade-qualified assessors and engineers capture every asset on site, checked as they go, and building owners get the findings almost at once. I can build one around your experts.

Talk about yours

Hours in the notebook

Asset audits have often run on notebooks on site and spreadsheets back at the desk. The assessors doing them are trade-qualified: they read a plant room the way a mechanic reads an engine.

Every hour spent transcribing was an hour that expertise was not on the asset, and every building owner waited days for findings while the data was typed up.

From the plant room to the record

  1. 1

    Walk the site

The assessor works through the building asset by asset, with the system in hand.

  2. 2

    Capture

Each asset is recorded where it stands, with its photos and its condition.

  3. 3

    Check

Quality checks run as the record is made, to the same standard on every site.

  4. 4

    Deliver

The owner has the findings almost at once, ready for their maintenance system.

AKAP exports to any CMMS, the maintenance management system an owner already runs. It works particularly well with RenewPRO, which ranks the risks an audit uncovers.

It was built to lift the quality of the audit. Viacore's expertise is what their clients pay for. The system gives more of each expert's time to the asset and holds every record to the same standard, on every site.

What it holds

  • 17,914

    assets audited

  • 12,456

    photos on record

  • Dozens

    of clients

As at 3 July 2026.

What yours would capture

Every expert business keeps its best knowledge in people's heads and notebooks. A system built around it lets your experts spend their time where it counts, and gives every client the same standard of work.

I build the working system with your team, hand over every login, and come back when you ask.
